Frontend team lead - NodeJS/ SvelteKit/ API

Job Description:

This is a hands-on coding job, not suitable for non-technical managers. As a Frontend Lead Developer, you will work with business leads to understand features, be able to estimate task size, perform the task yourself or delegate to more junior members of the group. You will be working on ERP, CRM, Call center apps.

Role & responsibilities

- Collaborate with our cross-functional development team to design and implement user interfaces for web applications.

- Develop and maintain front-end components using SvelteKit and other relevant technologies.

- Leverage your knowledge of modern CSS

- Communicate with the back-end using REST APIs.

- Implement automated tests using Playwright or similar framework

- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms to ensure the security and privacy of our applications.

- Utilize version control with Git and GitHub for collaborative development.

- Be able to switch between requirement gathering, implementation, code review and mentoring junior developers

Preferred candidate profile

- BTech in software engineering / computer science or equivalent is mandatory

- Proven experience as a Front End Developer with expertise. This means paid work for 3+ years, out of which 2 years can be in React/Vue/Svelte, but at least 6 months of SvelteKit

- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Strong understanding of reactivity, and state management.

- Experience implementing user authentication and authorization.

- Experience working with REST APIs - Proficiency in TypeScript desirable.

- Familiarity with Tailwind CSS is a plus.

- Experience with automated testing of front end, using Playwright or similar

- Knowledge of Git, GitHub, and collaborative development practices.

- Candidates with a strong background in ReactJS / NextJS may also be considered

- Experience with test automation is highly desirable.

- Experience with web application deployment is desirable.
