GST Officer/Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.) accurately and timely.
• Handle GST reconciliation (Input Tax Credit, outward and inward supplies).
• Ensure compliance with GST laws and regulations.
• Assist in GST audits and resolving notices and queries from tax authorities.
• Analyze data for GST impact, trends, and discrepancies.
• Maintain GST-related documentation and records.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of GST rules and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including some advanced formulas.
• Excellent learning ability to stay updated with changes in GST laws.
• Analytical skills to identify and solve discrepancies in tax filings.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in commerce or related fields or above. (1st Preference: Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant)
• Certifications in taxation or GST, experience of having worked in any GST software, will be an added advantage.

• Strong drafting, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Willingness to travel to units out of Mumbai, as may be necessary.
