Business Analyst in Finance ( Part Time )

Responsibilities:

• Financial Analysis & Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support business decisions.
  
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and track variances to ensure accurate financial planning.
  
• Data Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models for business analysis, project evaluation, and strategic planning
  
• Cost Analysis: Create project cost sheets, conduct profitability analysis, and present segmental performance insights to management
  
• Business Case Development: Work with business teams to develop financial models and support strategic bids and tender processes.
  
• KPI Management: Monitor key financial and operational KPIs and provide insights on business performance.
  
• SaaS & Subscription Metrics (If Applicable): Analyze metrics such as MRR, ARR, ACV, LTV, CAC, churn, and retention to support growth strategies.
  
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with management and business teams to support ongoing financial reporting and analysis requirements.
  
• Standard Operating Procedures: Develop and implement SOPs for financial reports to enhance efficiency and consistency.
  
• Data-Driven Insights: Extract and analyze data from ERP, CRM, finance, or subscription billing platforms to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, CIMA) is a plus.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
  
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, advanced formulas).
  
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  
• Familiarity with ERP, CRM, and finance systems for data extraction and analysis.
  
• Knowledge of SaaS metrics and financial management in subscription-based business models.
  
• Ability to translate complex data insights into clear and actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
  
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
