Role & responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and ledger management.
Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation of tax filings, financial audits, and internal financial reports.
Draft clear and concise emails for communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and policies, especially those applicable to NBFCs.
Handle general office administrative duties, including maintaining accurate records and filing documents.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Use advanced Excel skills to analyze financial data, create reports, and automate processes.
Preferred candidate profile
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in an NBFC or financial services industry.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
Strong computer skills and the ability to efficiently use accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.
Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations specific to NBFCs.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Certification in accounting or related professional qualifications is a plus.
