We have the ideal opportunity for a Senior Account Manager, who will develop and execute campaigns for generating and driving new business, as well as maintaining and developing relationships in a focused number of accounts in the Energy and AEC sectors (both public and private sector)
The Senior Account Manager is responsible for selling enterprise-level solutions to support project delivery and operations & management - as well as subscription offerings - into assigned accounts. Acting as primary contact for a designated set of industry accounts and public sector agencies, she/he will determine the sales strategy and negotiate and implement approved contracts. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, quota-driven, sales environment and have previous experience in B2B sales and the Architecture, Engineering and Construction industry.
Your Day-to-Day:
Prospect and close new business opportunities within assigned accounts using Strategic Account Planning, the Bentley Sales Process and meeting with assigned end-users to develop and maintain the relationships at various levels to meet annual revenue goals
Develop important and effective relationships with Key Executives within assigned accounts, by translating customer challenges and opportunities into unique business value
Evaluate and prepare account plans for key assigned accounts by translating customer challenges and priorities into unique value propositions. Create value messaging, and target important steps needed to implement the account plans ensuring execution of the plan by all parties in the account team
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solid business proposals mapping User Objectives to Bentleys worldclass software and services
Execute sales through Bentleys Sales Process using the Salesforce to document progress towards closing opportunities
Manage complex Government tenders at multiple levels within the assigned account, with primary focus/importance on senior/executive management
Prepare sales reports in Salesforce on various aspects of sales activities in the territory assigned to include such things as: forecasts, sales data, etc.
Participate in sales events such as: trade shows, product demonstration seminars, user specific technical demonstrations, etc.
Maintain a high knowledge level of the companys products and services, as well as knowledge of the industry workflows, business drivers, and major players.
This role requires traveling up to 35% of the year
What You Bring to The Team:
Minimum of 9 years proven sales experience
An exceptional track record of quarterly and annual over quota performances
Enterprise Technology Software sales experience with direct and indirect selling channels
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
Strong sales process and account planning skills
Strong executive selling and relationship experience
Knowledge of the AEC industry is a definite advantage ideally with a background in Power Engineering.
Referenceable experience and knowledge of operating at an executive level with accounts.
PC literacy with appropriate MS Office applications proficiency.
Salesforce Proficiency
Excellent written and oral communication as well as strong presentation skills.
Very well disciplined and organized with a high level of personal integrity.
