Quality Supervisor

Qualification:

Bachelors degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Supervisor to oversee the quality assurance and control processes in our polypropylene (PP) compounding manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards, comply with industry regulations, and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all quality-related activities in the production process.
• Conduct inspections, tests, and audits to ensure raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods meet specifications.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures and protocols.
• Lead and train the quality team to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of quality control personnel.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and customer-specific requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of test results, inspection records, and certifications.
• Investigate non-conformance issues, recommend solutions, and implement corrective actions under the guidance of the Technical Manager.
• Work with the production team to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
• Oversee testing of raw materials, including PP, additives, and glass fibers, to ensure conformity with specifications.
• Participate in customer audits and provide technical support regarding quality requirements.
• Prepare material samples for testing as per standard protocols.
• Handle basic lab equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine tests such as tensile, flexural, impact and ash content analysis under supervision.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Polymer Science, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality control/assurance in PP compounding or plastic manufacturing or similar.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
• Proficiency in laboratory testing equipment and techniques.
• Proficiency in QC tools and statistical analysis software, Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
