Job Description
- Candidate should act as a Liaison between the company and customer from quality perspective.
- Candidate should have through knowledge and experience of precision machining of Automotive parts, Hydraulic and vacuum pump parts, Agricultural parts.
- Should have basic knowledge of Casting, Forging methodology, trouble shooting and their quality requirements.
- Candidate should have knowledge of post machining processes like, Coating, Painting, Heat treatment etc.
- Should work with NPD to decide feasibility for inspection and measurement techniques, as per customer requirement.
- Should be aware about the step to establish new product quality at inhouse as well as at supplier end.
- Should be able to conduct new supplier assessment and audit for supplier processes.
- Should be well experienced in APQP and PPAP process and documentation.
- Should be able to decide & finalize Inspection / measurement techniques and methodology for new parts in shortest lead time.
- Candidate should have through knowledge about PPM, COPQ and should be able to reduce it with continuous improvement in 4M.
- Should be able to develop and implement strategies to improve the production process, there by reducing Rejection, Rework and Cost of poor quality.
