Together, we will implement the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP), offering a world-class education that fosters critical thinking, intercultural understanding, and a lifelong love of learning.

We are looking for an exceptional Head of School who understands the unique nuances of the Indian educational landscape, is passionate about fostering an inclusive learning environment, and has experience with or a strong understanding of the IB curriculum. The selected candidate will play a vital role in shaping the schools future, overseeing academics, pastoral development, and day-to-day operations while contributing to strategic planning as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and implement the schools vision, mission, and School Improvement Plan with clarity and commitment. Actively contribute to the strategic direction of the school, ensuring its successful implementation in alignment with the IB PYP philosophy.
• Drive excellence in teaching and learning throughout the primary years. Lead professional development workshops, mentor teachers, and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance the overall quality of education.
• Place great value on students and staff and focus on the development of the team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of all students in the school. Ensure the well-being and safety of every child is a top priority, fostering a nurturing and inclusive school environment.
• Have experience leading and managing high-performing teams in education, ensuring appropriate levels of accountability.
• Provide excellent learning experiences for all students and keep up to date with current educational research and pedagogical thinking.
• Review and further develop pastoral systems in the school to ensure smooth student transitions between phases.
• Work with the senior and middle leadership team to implement change inclusively and effectively, ensuring strong curriculum leadership and commitment to academic progress.
• Develop assessment practices to ensure that every student makes excellent progress, reflected in robust internal data and internationally benchmarked tests.
• Create a culture of collaborative, progressive learning among staff and students.

📅 Start Date: March 2025 (for school opening in July 2025)

Desired Candidate Profile

✔️ Essential Requirements:

• Masters degree in Education or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of teaching experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

✔️ Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in a similar leadership role in a reputable institution.
• Strong understanding of the IB curriculum (PYP experience preferred).
• Knowledge of the Indian educational context and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
• Proven ability to lead and manage high-performing teams in education.
