Conversational AI Engineer - NLP (6-10 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Develop intent and utterance-based logic and interaction flows for conversational AI applications.

- Develop NLP-based intent classification, routing, and treatment of customer interactions.

- Demonstrate proficiency with conversational AI platforms such as Lex, Dialogflow, Watson, or similar platforms.

- Possess development and integration expertise in Conversational AI, NLP/NLU modeling, and omnichannel communication platforms.

- Exhibit solution architect experience with a deep understanding of application architecture, enterprise application design, SOA, and cloud-native applications.

- Demonstrate understanding of UI elements, APIs, database interfaces, and other technical components.

- Own the technical solution, ensuring all technical aspects are implemented as designed.

- Create high-level and low-level design and architecture documents.

- Assess project risks, highlight potential issues, and implement mitigation strategies to drive successful outcomes.

- Identify and analyze information related to existing client systems, clearly showing the handoffs/handshakes between various systems and departments within the organization.

- Ensure adherence to best practices during coding and integrations. Perform code and integration reviews.

- Work closely with stakeholders to identify operational bottlenecks and develop innovative solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

- Develop efficient, well-structured, maintainable, and easy-to-understand tasks/objects using core workflow principles.

- Provide timely responses and fixes for UAT observations.

- Provide post-implementation support for all changes.

- Keep the project manager and product committee informed of task accomplishments, issues, and status.

- Ensure compliance with company and IT procedures, policies, and documentation requirements (Feasibility study, BRD, Release Notes) across project phases. Adhere to coding standards and development best practices. Perform technical documentation as per the project lifecycle.

- Share and follow best practices, development, and deployment methodologies with other team members.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 6-10 years of experience in conversational AI development and related technologies.

- Deep understanding of NLP/NLU concepts and techniques.

- Hands-on experience with conversational AI platforms (Lex, Dialogflow, Watson, or similar).

- Experience with API development and integration.

- Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
