Job Description
As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create seamless and engaging user experiences for our complex software solutions. You should have a deep understanding of enterprise product needs, user-centric design principles, and a knack for transforming user requirements into intuitive, accessible, and beautiful designs. Experience with Angular and React frameworks is essential, as you ll be working directly with development teams utilizing these technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end UI/UX design process, from research and ideation through prototyping and testing, to final design.
- Design responsive, accessible interfaces for web-based enterprise applications.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitor analysis to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers, specifically those using Angular and React, to ensure the feasibility and implementation of designs.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs using Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools.
- Create and maintain a design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across all products.
- Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders and incorporate feedback to achieve a refined final product.
- Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on design best practices and enterprise UI/UX standards.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of UI/UX design experience , with a strong focus on enterprise-level applications.
- Proven track record in designing user-friendly interfaces for complex products.
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and proficiency in prototyping and wireframing tools.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and interaction design.
- Hands-on experience with Angular and React frameworks, and familiarity with integrating designs within these front-end technologies.
- Experience with user research methodologies, persona creation, and journey mapping.
- Familiarity with front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex design concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design expertise, with examples of enterprise software applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of design systems and frameworks, and experience building and maintaining them.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and design for data-heavy interfaces.
- Previous experience mentoring or leading a design team.
