Position Overview:

- We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manager/Senior Manager, Tax to join our growing startup. In this role, you will help to plan the global group structure from a tax perspective, identify potential tax risks, and ensure compliance with relevant laws. You will need to research and understand tax laws across multiple countries where the company is present.

Key Responsibilities:

- Tax Compliance (India + Global): Supervise regular and timely payment of all direct and indirect taxes and compliances for Indian and Global entities.

- Tax Assessments: Manage tax assessments for Income Tax, Transfer Pricing, and GST, including collating information and drafting replies with support from tax advisors.

- Tax Planning for International Expansion: Assist in creating tax-compliant structures for international expansion, and executing the same.

- Tax Research: Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, analyze their impact on the business, and advise management accordingly.

- Reporting and Documentation: Preparing and maintaining accurate tax records, and ensuring proper documentation for all tax-related data.

- Risk Management Identify potential tax risks and develop mitigation strategies to help the company comply with tax laws.

- Process Improvement: Help streamline processes to make the organization's tax processes more efficient, accurate, compliant.

Required Skills & Qualification:

- We require a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or an equivalent field, with a preference for CA and strong experience in tax compliance.

- The ideal candidate should have 48 years of post-qualification work experience, preferably in a fast-growing company or startup organization.

- Experience working directly with external consultants and/or exposure to the tax laws of Singapore, UAE and Brazil will be an added advantage.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage sensitive information confidential.

- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of a startup environment.
