Sr QA Engineer - AWS Kubernetes

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in VoIP, PBX, SIP, Class 5 Switch, and Contact Center applications. This role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of our products built on SIP, Class 5 Switch, and micro-services architecture. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of proven experience in product testing within these domains and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and execute test plans and test cases for products based on SIP, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
• Integrated assurance/testing as part of continues DevOps In addition with modular testing/assurance
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and operations to understand product requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Design and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes and increase efficiency.
• Conduct both manual and automated tests to identify bugs, issues, and performance bottlenecks in the software.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve identified issues.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality.
• Provide timely and accurate reports on testing status, including test results, test coverage, and potential risks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2-6 years of proven experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on product testing within SIP, Kubernetes, and microservices testing and assurance. (M)
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices in a microservices environment. (M)
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium, JMeter, JUnit, TestNG, or similar technologies. (M)
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. (M)
• Familiarity with SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) and VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) technologies is highly desirable. (M)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products within scheduled timelines.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
