Field Service Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1. Field Service: Execute on-site troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. This includes transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and other components.
2. Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to customers and internal teams, addressing queries, offering solutions, and ensuring smooth operation of electrical systems.
3. Commissioning: Participate in the commissioning of new electrical installations, ensuring they meet design specifications and client expectations.
4. Diagnostic Analysis: Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly, minimizing downtime for clients.
5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports, manuals, and service logs. Provide timely and detailed service reports to clients and internal management.
6. Customer Relations: Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our services. Communicate effectively to understand their needs and expectations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in electrical services, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel for on-site service assignments
