Job Overview :

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Java Backend Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining highly scalable and efficient backend systems. You will be working with modern technologies such as Spring Boot, Microservices, MySQL databases, and applying your expertise in system design and problem-solving to solve complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities :

Design & Architecture :

- Design and develop scalable and maintainable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.

- Architect and implement microservices to enable modular, highly available, and resilient systems.

- Define system design for large-scale systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and maintainability.

Database Management :

- Design and optimize MySQL databases, including data modeling, query optimization, and troubleshooting performance issues.

- Implement efficient data storage strategies to ensure the scalability and performance of backend applications.

Backend Development :

- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and services, ensuring the backend is secure, efficient, and robust.

- Collaborate with frontend and mobile teams to integrate the backend systems with the user-facing parts of the product.

- Continuously improve and refactor code for better performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting :

- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution.

- Analyze and solve complex system-related problems, including performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and data inconsistencies.

Languages & Frameworks :

- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8+.

- Expertise in building applications using Spring Boot and Spring-based technologies.

- Experience with designing and developing microservices architectures.

Databases :

- Strong experience with MySQL or other relational databases (PostgreSQL, etc.).

- Proficiency in writing optimized queries, understanding indexing, and managing database transactions.

System Design :

- Strong knowledge of system design principles, including scalability, high availability, and fault tolerance.

- Ability to design complex systems with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Problem-Solving :

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.

- Ability to debug and troubleshoot issues in complex production environments.

Agile Methodologies :

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
