Designation : Sr. Camera Hardware Design Engineer

Experience: 5 to 7 Years

Nature of Experience:

Knowledge of basics of Electronic Components.

Experience with automotive/industrial specific microcontrollers, SOC, High-speed circuit design

Knowledge in Interfaces like (QSFP, I2C, I2S, SPI, USB, HDMI, Memory (DDR3/4, eMMC, QSPI etc))

Good understanding of ISP Tuning of Camera, Camera Lens selection & optimization

Knowledge of Image Sensor & camera interface, Dual sensor integration design

RF Basics (Power Amplifiers High power or Small signal RF)

Design document like HDD, LLD, DFMEA, etc

Good understanding of PCB designing tool Orcad, Altium, etc and experience in Layout Guidelines creation

Experience with EMI/ EMC design consideration during Hardware designing

Good understanding of automotive vehicle features and automotive standards

Good understanding of SI/PI Analysis

Role and Responsibilities:

Experience in High-Speed Board Design and DDR, Digital Design, & controller-based design.

Interfaces like I2C, SPI, USB, PCIe, I2S, GMSL2, MIPI-CSI, Ethernet, Memory, USB etc.

ISP tuning of internal & external ISP

Development of Diagnostics over GMSL2

Managing project timelines, deliverables, and resources.

Ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.

Providing technical guidance to the team, and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Work closely with other departments, such as software development, product management, and manufacturing, to ensure the hardware design aligns with the overall product requirements.

Overseeing the testing and validation of hardware components, ensuring that they meet the necessary performance, reliability, and safety standards like ISO 26262, IEC62471 etc.

Ensuring that all design processes, decisions, and results are thoroughly documented for future reference and compliance purposes.

Communication must be clear among the team members.
