Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Oversee the entire quality management system and monitor its effectiveness. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify any deviations from quality standards and initiate corrective actions. Collaborate with production teams to establish quality metrics and performance targets. Train and educate employees on quality procedures, standards, and best practices. Monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement quality enhancement initiatives. Investigate customer complaints or quality issues, analyze root causes, and implement preventive measures. Maintain accurate documentation of quality tests, inspections, and audits. Ensure that all quality-related records are properly maintained and available for review. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to establish quality requirements for incoming materials and components. Participate in the selection and evaluation of suppliers based on their ability to meet quality standards. Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to quality management. Lead and motivate the quality control team to achieve departmental goals and objectives. Prepare regular reports on quality performance indicators, highlighting areas for improvement and recommending actions. Conduct internal and external quality audits to assess compliance with quality standards and identify opportunities for improvement. Requirements : Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as quality management, engineering, or a related discipline. Proven experience in quality control or assurance, preferably in a supervisory role. In-depth knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools. Familiarity with industry-specific quality standards and regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality-related issues. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to lead and motivate a team and foster a culture of quality consciousness. Proficient in using quality management software and tools. Certification in quality management (e. g. , Six Sigma, ISO 9001) is a plus.
