Role & responsibilities

Registered Nurse, Staff Nurse, DGNM includes experience at ward, ICU, OP

• To maintain the personal hygiene of the patients, including bathing. Care of mouth, back, nails, hair etc.
• To assist the patient in elimination, offering and removing the bedpans and urinals.
• Assist in ambulation and rehabilitation of patients.
• Assist in feeding the weak and debilitated patients.
• Handing over and taking over of in-patient care and equipment.
• Maintaining intake and output charts.
• Monitors record and report symptoms and changes in patient's conditions & escalates for further plan care.
• Assisting the nurses in carrying out procedures, dressing, suction, catheter care etc.,
• Recording vital signs on a periodical basis.
• Performing Routine instructions given by senior staff and doctors.
• .Collecting, labeling and dispatching of urine and stool specimens of in patients.
• Pre-operative skin preparation for surgical patients.

Shitting patients to and from OT.
