Job Overview
Automotive Infra Tools team at Qualcomm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staff Engineer to join our team. The candidate should have a robust background in requirements management tooling and ALM systems. Candidate should possess a deep understanding of database management systems, software development processes, and customer-centric solutions. Knowledge of Code beamer tool and the ability to meet ASPICE compliance will be a plus.
Job Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for requirements, design, development, test, and configuration management across multiple projects.

Partner with product management, partners, customers, and other stakeholders to define requirements, scope projects, and ship products in rapid, iterative cycles.

Lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Define, document, and improve engineering processes to align with business objectives and industry best practices.

Lead, hire, and grow a diverse world-class team of software engineers.

Offer customer support by addressing technical issues, delivering tailored solutions, and maintaining strong communication with stakeholders

Required Qualifications

BE/BTech/BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.

12+ years of IT experience delivering high quality solutions with 3+ years of experience in technical leadership role, overseeing projects, and 2+ years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.

In-depth understanding of requirements management, test management, and configuration management principles, processes, and tools.

Strong knowledge of SQL Server, Angular, .NET, C#, ALM Tool or similar stack.

Experience in designing and implementing scalable and efficient engineering solutions.

Exceptional problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Experience managing stakeholder communication in a matric environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
"¢ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
"¢ 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
