Job Purpose

STADA is a leading global pharmaceuticals multinational corporation looking for an experienced and professional Finance Manager to be responsible for overall finance, accounting and reporting activities of company. This position will play a key role in the organizations strategy and high performance. The Finance Manager will collaborate with the executive management team to analyze department finances and develop budgets that will keep the company’s costs optimum.

The position will also be responsible for ensuring that the systems and procedures are in place to support effective program implementation and conducting flawless workflows, audits including outcomes. Also, it will lead all day-to-day finance operations and hold functional responsibility over accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and direction. In addition, the role will partner with other stakeholders, the Human Resources (HR) and Information Technology (IT) staff to enhance and better integrate Finance, HR, and IT functions across the organization.

Role

Key Responsibilities and tasks

  • Strategic Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the companys goals. Analyze and interpret financial data to inform business decisions and optimize profitability.
  • Budget Management: Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow for all operations, ensuring effective management of capital and resources.
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all financial transactions and performance metrics. Maintain compliance with local, regional, and global financial and tax regulations.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks. Implement robust controls and systems to mitigate financial exposure.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with senior stakeholders to provide strategic financial insights that influence company decisions. Collaborate with the regional finance team to align country-level strategies with regional objectives.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the local finance team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Operational Efficiency: Drive efficiencies and cost reductions across the company through effective financial management practices.
  • Investor Relations: Manage relationships with investors, banks, and external auditors to ensure the effective communication of financial results and strategies.
  • Develop, document, and monitor business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Recommend updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing

Preferred candidate profile

Essential Qualification:

To succeed in this role, should have the following skills and experience:

  • University Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and foster collaborative environments
  • Proficiency in MS Office and in financial software and Excel
  • Strong Knowledge of regular Finance & Accounting of company, Direct and Indirect Taxation
  • Sound knowledge about Statutory compliances, Tax audits & Tax assessments Internal audit and Company Secretarial work will be preferable
