- Manage all aspects of the school library, including cataloging, shelving, and maintaining a welcoming and organized environment. - Develop and maintain a diverse collection of age-appropriate books, multimedia resources, and educational materials. - Collaborate with teachers to support classroom instruction and integrate library resources into the curriculum. - Facilitate library orientations, book talks, and reading programs to promote literacy and a love for reading among students. - Provide research assistance and guidance to students, helping them develop information literacy skills and navigate research projects. - Meet with the school principal and administrators to discuss annual and quarterly reading goals. - Stay informed about current trends and best practices in school librarianship and educational technology. - Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and school events as required.
