Role & Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Classroom Management:

• Plan and deliver lessons in an interactive and child-friendly manner.
• Develop engaging learning activities, including storytelling, play-based learning, and hands-on activities.
• Ensure a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.

Student Development & Well-being:

• Track individual student progress and provide necessary academic and emotional support.
• Instill confidence, curiosity, and independence in young learners.
• Encourage good values, social skills, and personal hygiene habits.

Assessment & Evaluation:

• Conduct formative and summative assessments to gauge student learning.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Maintain student records, progress reports, and portfolios.

Parent Communication & Engagement:

• Serve as the primary liaison between parents and the school.
• Conduct regular parent-teacher meetings and share progress updates.
• Offer guidance on home-based learning support.

Collaboration & Professional Development:

• Work closely with co-teachers, subject specialists, and school Principal.
• Participate in school events, workshops, and professional development programs.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and innovative teaching strategies.

Required Skills & Qualities:

• Warm, patient, and empathetic, fostering a child-centric approach.
• Passionate about early childhood education and student development.
• Strong communication skills (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in interactive and activity-based teaching methods.
• Ability to handle young learners with care, creativity, and discipline.
• Good classroom management and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with collaborative and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using basic technology and digital learning tools.

Educational Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors Degree (B.Ed. / D.El.Ed. / ECCE / Montessori training preferred).
• 2 to 3 years of teaching experience in early primary grades (preferred).
• Exposure to modern teaching methodologies and child psychology will be an added advantage.
