General Manager Project

Role & responsibilities

• Strategic planning: Developing and implementing business strategies to achieve organizational goals
• Project management: Ensuring that projects are planned, launched, managed, and closed within budget and deadlines
• Communication: Being able to communicate with a wide variety of people
• Leadership: Having strong leadership skills to instill confidence in employees and motivate them to improve their performance
• Budgeting: Managing budgets and forecasts, including focusing on cost reductions and operational improvements
• Time management: Setting deadlines and delegating tasks to team members
• Problem solving: Being able to quickly identify problems, think critically, and devise effective solutions

Other responsibilities of a general manager include:

• Overseeing the work of executives
• Leading production activities
• Ensuring safety regulations are followed
• Maintaining quality service
• Building relationships with key industry players, vendors, and customers
• Training, motivating, and evaluating employee performance
• Work with senior management and other stakeholders to ensure all projects are completed before schedule, of excellent quality and within the budget.
• To create periodic reports for various projects and prepare weekly projects snapshots and action plan.
• To Coordinate and manage Architects, Designers, Consultants, Purchase & Admin personnel, Technical Teams, Contractors, Vendors, Supervisors etc.
• Ensure a strong reporting system as per requirements of senior management and track the same.
• Orange and Red flag issues which will impact progress and delivery of project and find mitigations solutions to get project back on track.
