PCR Operator (NDI & Vizrt Workflow)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Operate and manage NDI-based video feeds using Vizrt workflow.
• Operate and manage NDI-based video feeds (including cameras, media servers, and other video/audio devices) within the Vizrt environment.
• Ensure proper configuration of NDI sources and Vizrt graphic engines, ensuring that video feeds and graphics integrate seamlessly.
• Work with Viz Mosart for broadcast automation, ensuring that all video and graphic content is delivered at the correct time
• Operate Viz Trio for real-time graphics control and on-air graphics management (e.g., lower thirds, sports graphics, news tickers)
• Control the live broadcast production process, including the management of video switching, media playback, and graphic overlays.
• Switch between NDI video sources using hardware or software video switchers, based on production needs.
• Oversee the integration of video, graphics, and audio signals, ensuring they are correctly synchronized and routed across the broadcast system.
• Collaborate closely with directors, technical directors, and graphics operators to ensure the smooth flow of the broadcast.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to NDI connections or Vizrt system components quickly and efficiently.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 2-3 years of experience as a PCR Operator or similar role in live TV broadcasting environment.
  
• Proficiency in operating Vizrt software for graphic composition, data visualization, and video manipulation.
  
• Strong knowledge of NDI protocols for real-time video transmission over IP networks.
  
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
