Electrical Vehicle (EV) Skills Trainer / Green Skills Trainer

Job Summary:

The Green Skills Trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs focused on sustainability, eco-friendly practices, and sustainable development goals (SDGs). The trainer will prepare students and trainees for the green skills needed in industries such as electric vehicles (EVs) and solar energy. This role involves creating learning objectives, evaluating training effectiveness, and presenting training materials with confidence and clarity, and working in close collaboration with the project team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive learning materials and training plans for ev skills programs and prepare and train students graduating from ITIs and Polytechnic colleges on sustainable practices and evs.
• Provide hands-on, practical training to students, allowing them to gain the necessary skills and experience to secure green jobs or start their own sustainable businesses/jobs.
• Present training materials clearly and confidently, ensuring students understand and retain information.
• Collaborate with industry experts, government agencies, and other stakeholders to stay up to date on the latest green technologies, regulations, and best practices, and incorporate this knowledge into the training programs.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of training methodologies and materials.
• Support the documentation of training programs and prepare reports, presentations, and other related materials.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and training sessions as needed and maintain regular training data.
• Foster a positive learning environment and encourage student engagement and participation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or masters degree in mechanical engineering, Electronics and Electrical, or a related technical field.
• Prior experience in training, teaching, or a related role is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of sustainability concepts, eco-friendly practices, and SDGs.
• Knowledge of electric vehicles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to present information clearly and confidently.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing training requirements and priorities.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the role.
