- Strong experience with AWS RDS and EC2 environments.
- Proven background in Oracle and/or SQL Server databases.
- 4-7 years of experience as a DBA or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in implementing and managing backup and recovery processes.
- Knowledge of database security best practices and data protection measures.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator) are a plus.
Roles and Responsibilities - Install, configure, and maintain relational databases (Oracle or SQL Server) in both on-premises and cloud environments (AWS RDS).
- Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies, including disaster recovery plans.
- Enforce database security policies and practices to protect data from unauthorized access and breaches.
- Diagnose and resolve database issues, including performance problems, errors, and outages.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and standards.
- Apply database patches and upgrades in a timely manner to ensure the systems are up-to-date and secure.
