Vendor Management Lead

We are looking to hire Vendor management professionals to lead our growing BGV product- Springverify. They establish and maintain an organization s relationships with vendors, contractors, and other service providers. They are actively involved in all aspects of vendor management and coordination throughout every stage of the business relationship. They supervise any pre-screening or qualification procedures and negotiate favorable terms and prices. They initiate any onboarding or initial account setup, make introductions to direct account representatives, oversee the processing of contracts and invoices, and resolve any conflicts to ensure an ongoing positive connection. They also guide and implement high-level vendor management strategies and policies.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate all vendor management tasks, including working with external vendors and internal employees.
- Onboarding/ Contracting / Negotiation with new vendors
- Ensure due diligence, and risk assessment with continuous vendor monitoring

- Coordinate vendor processes and methods to approve vendors. Sample Checks / Reference Checks

- Track, measure, report, evaluate performance and analyse the vendors capacity.

- Troubleshoot all vendor problems and present them to management as required.

- Identify improvement areas internally as well as perform closely with all internal stakeholders to prepare solutions.

- Explore expansion across new business lines. Sourcing of new vendors from the market.

- Coordination with the team for vendor payments. Payment / Bills.

- 5-8 years of proven track record of vendor management in background verification companies.

- Strong technical prowess, should be able to use Google Sheets, set up dashboards, Trello and other vendor management tools

- Strong leadership, negotiation and problem-solving skills

- Highly self-motivated, agile, ability to adapt to changes

- Attention to detail

- Comfortable working remotely and async communication.
