UI/UX - Intern

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to gather and evaluate user requirements effectively
• Design and prototype user interfaces, ensuring seamless functionality and aesthetic appeal
• Present design concepts and prototypes to internal teams and key stakeholders, incorporating feedback into iterative design processes
• Identify and troubleshoot UI/UX issues, such as responsiveness and usability, to enhance overall user experience
• Conduct user research activities, including usability testing and user interviews, to inform design decisions
• Adhere to established style standards for fonts, colors, and images, maintaining brand consistency across all designs
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of UX processes, design methodologies, and User-Centered Design (UCD) principles
• Demonstrate strong understanding of UI Design Principles and design styles
• Create Design system and follow it consistently across all designs
• Eagerness to learn and stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UI/UX design

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field with a focus on UI/UX design
• A strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating initiative and adaptability
• Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar software
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to diverse audiences
• Familiarity with user research methodologies, such as usability testing, persona development, and journey mapping
• Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles to ensure designs are usable by all individuals
• Knowledge of responsive design principles to create interfaces that function seamlessly across various devices and screen sizes
• Creative problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail, with a passion for crafting intuitive and visually appealing user experiences
