Role Overview:

SpiceJet Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Industrial & Production Engineer to optimize engineering

operations, manpower utilization, cost efficiency, and vendor negotiations. The role requires hands-on ground

reporting, service provider coordination, and detailed cost analysis to enhance operational efficiency within the

engineering domain.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational & Manpower Management:

• Oversee manpower planning, deployment, and reporting for engineering operations.
• Monitor and optimize resource allocation to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Ensure timely reporting of workforce productivity and service provider performance.

Service Provider & Vendor Coordination:

• Manage relationships with engineering service providers and ensure SLA compliance.
• Oversee third-party vendors and ensure alignment with operational requirements.
• Negotiate contracts with service providers to achieve cost-effective solutions.

Cost Analysis & Optimization:

• Conduct detailed cost analysis of maintenance operations and engineering projects.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety and compliance.
• Prepare financial reports and operational budgets for engineering activities.

Process Improvement & Reporting:

• Implement industry best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
• Analyze production and engineering workflows to minimize waste and improve turnaround times.
• Provide reporting with data-driven insights for management decision-making.

Key Requirements:

• Education: B.E./B.Tech in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 1-2 years in aviation engineering, MRO, or industrial production roles.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and cost management skills.
• Proficiency in engineering reporting, data analysis, and vendor management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
