Job Description
- Understand and analyze the requirements. Read all the documents and decide what needs to be tested.
- Prepare and maintain test case repositories on Azure DevOps
- Document scenarios and test cases for the change request or application
- Prepare Test Cases and Test Data for the test cases
- Execute test cases as required by the project
- Provide mandatory information of a defect to developers in order to fix it
- Defect reporting and tracking until closure
- Carry out regression testing whenever changes are made to the code
- Execute automation suite for regression cycles as required
- Manual testing (Primary), Automation Testing (Secondary)
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and Testing Life Cycle
- Good knowledge of SQL Server, MS SQL, Query writing skills needs to be very good.
- Should have exposer in API Testing using Postman tool
- Good understanding of a Test management tool like Jira or TFS (Azure DevOps)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders
- Attention to detail and Good analytical power
