Job Description

Position : Enterprise Application Lead - SAP SuccessFactors (Pune, India)

Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Enterprise Application Lead to join our Pune office. This role will be pivotal in leading and managing technology solutions, particularly within the HR domain, to support the firm's strategic goals and ensure the alignment with relevant systems and employment legislation. The Enterprise Application Lead will be responsible for optimizing, streamlining, and administering HR technologies, specifically SAP SuccessFactors (SF), and driving improvements in HR processes.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic HR Technology Management :

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR, IT, business partners, and vendors, to manage technology solutions that support the organization's overall strategic objectives.

- Ensure HR systems are consistent with both the firm's business strategy and relevant employment legislation.

Stakeholder Relationship Management :

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners across HR functions, IT, business teams, and vendors to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery of technology solutions.

- Engage with global teams to drive successful HR system implementations, ensuring high value for HR practitioners and other stakeholders.

HR Systems Optimization and Administration :

- Oversee and continuously improve HR systems, including SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Onboarding, through regular enhancements, upgrades, and system optimization.

- Take ownership of global HR system implementations, focusing on ease of use, scalability, and value delivery.

- Proactively identify issues or areas for improvement within HR technology, researching and implementing process or technological enhancements.

Vendor Management and Coordination :

- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring deliverables, timelines, expectations, and budgets are met.

- Monitor and assess vendor performance, ensuring high-quality service and effective delivery of HR solutions.

Process Improvement & Solutions Design :

- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of complex business processes within the SAP SuccessFactors environment, with particular focus on HR processes such as Hire-to-Retire (H2R).

- Apply expertise in SAP SF to develop and enhance business processes, ensuring alignment with best practices and business needs.

- Engage in requirement gathering, solution design, and system testing as part of system enhancements or new implementations.

Documentation & Support :

- Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including solution overviews, FAQs, user guides, and training materials to support implementation, support, and enhancement activities.

- Ensure that all stakeholders are well-informed about system functionalities, updates, and new features.

Testing and Quality Assurance :

- Participate in testing efforts, including the preparation and execution of test cases, test plans, and test scripts, to ensure successful system deployment.

- Oversee data conversion, system testing, and validation to ensure a smooth transition to live systems during implementation projects.

Thought Leadership and Best Practices :

- Serve as a thought leader in HR technology solutions, sharing insights and recommendations for process improvements.

- Advocate for best practices in SAP SuccessFactors usage and HR technology integration.

Consultative Role to Stakeholders :

- Act as an internal consultant, offering expert advice and support on HR processes and technical solutions.

- Assist stakeholders in understanding and utilizing HR technology to drive efficiency, enhance workflows, and optimize business operations.

Key Qualifications and Skills :

Extensive Experience with SAP SuccessFactors :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SuccessFactors, particularly with Employee Central and Onboarding modules.

- Proven track record in designing, implementing, and supporting complex business processes within SAP SuccessFactors.

Certification and Technical Expertise :

- SAP SuccessFactors certification is preferred, demonstrating proficiency in the platform.

- Strong expertise in SAP SuccessFactors (SF), especially in MDF (Metadata Framework) and system configuration.

Implementation & Support Knowledge :

- Proven experience in leading or supporting at least 2-3 SAP SuccessFactors implementation, enhancement, or support projects.

- Expertise in solution design, configuration, and execution of business processes in SAP SF.

HR Business Process Knowledge :

- In-depth understanding of Hire-to-Retire (H2R) business processes and HR systems management.

- Experience in HR areas such as workforce planning, recruiting, training and development, performance management, compensation, payroll, and HR analytics.

Project Management & Vendor Coordination :

- Excellent vendor management skills, with the ability to oversee timelines, deliverables, and budgets.

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, deliver results within tight deadlines, and work in demanding situations.

Excellent Communication and Collaboration :

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms for business stakeholders.

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, manage team dynamics, and deliver high-value results.

Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills :

- Strong analytical skills to identify challenges, research solutions, and implement process improvements effectively.

- Ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements and lead initiatives with flexibility and resourcefulness.
