Sr. Executive /Assistant Manager - Accounts

Job Title: Assistant Manager

Location: Mylapore, Tamil Nadu, India

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Commerce (B.Com)

Experience:

• 5 to 7 years of relevant accounting experience
• Comprehensive experience in using Tally software

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform basic accounting tasks up to finalization of accounts
• Manage and file TDS/GST returns
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Handle end-to-end accounting functions, including payroll, ledger maintenance, and financial reporting
• Liaise effectively with suppliers, auditors, and other stakeholders
• Provide support during audits and ensure all audit requirements are met
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports
• Ensure smooth operations within the accounting department of a manufacturing or service industry

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Tally software
• Thorough knowledge of TDS and GST filing processes
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective supplier and auditor management
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
