Sourcing Specialist

Tricords vision is to become our customer’s first name in Global Supply Chain management. It is in that entrepreneurial spirit that we are seeking an energetic and motivated individual who is passionate about helping to grow the business by starting a career in international sourcing. This individual will be primarily responsible for sending RFQ’s to appropriate suppliers, following up on the quotes and working to negotiate the details of the quote so that the business can be won. 

The APAC Sourcing Specialist will be measured quarterly on their performance.

Job Functions-

• Work with Tricord USA team to arrange quote of new RFQs
• Co-ordinate with CAM/SS/Engineering/quality team for incomplete details before sending RFQ to suppliers
• Arrange the quotations from Suppliers.
• Review and compare the received quotes for cost analysis before sending to US team.
• Negotiate to ensure the given quote is best quote.
• Arrange weekly sales review meetings to communicate RFQ outcomes with USA Team and Suppliers. 
• Find better suppliers to build a strong supplier database.
• Cross train in at least one other area- print reviews, costing analysis, MMR monitoring, etc.
