Based out of Pune (5 to 8 Years & 10 to 15 Years)

Job Description: Procurement Specialist

• We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Procurement Specialist with 5-7 years of extensive experience in sourcing, procurement, and contracting across various IT categories, including IT hardware, software, cloud services (Azure/AWS), and related services.
• The ideal candidate will manage complex global projects, ensuring strict adherence to timelines for stakeholders in the US, AU,CAN,UK, and Middle East

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the global procurement process by leading RFP/RFI efforts, identifying potential vendors, negotiating contracts, and finalizing agreements in collaboration with Procurement and IT Software/Service management.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across regions to understand IT requirements and develop effective procurement strategies; provide weekly project progress reports to stakeholders.
• Negotiate global contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing terms to achieve cost savings aligned with organizational objectives.
• Develop and implement strategies for cost optimization through benchmarking, consolidation for volume discounts, and understanding discount mechanisms of various OEMs in IT categories.
• Monitor contract performance, proactively resolve issues during the contract period, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes impacting vendor management.
• Mitigate vendor-related risks while contributing to individual and team development through quarterly training on tools and negotiation strategies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working with suppliers such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, AWS/AZURE, Cisco,  DELL, HPE and Value Added resellers like CDW, Insight , Optiva
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders across multiple regions.
