Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Umbraco with .NET Core with MS SQL Server (Backend databse) Developer who will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our web applications built on the Umbraco CMS platform and .NET Core framework. As a Senior Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that meet our business requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, customize, and maintain web applications using Umbraco CMS and .NET Core, MS SQL Server.
2. Design and implement efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
3. Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
4. Optimize application performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.
5. Participate in requirements analysis, design discussions, and code reviews.
6. Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth application operation.
7. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
8. Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in web development.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience (5+ years) as a .NET developer, with expertise in .NET Core with MS SQL Server.
3. Extensive experience with Umbraco CMS, including custom development, configuration, and deployment.
4. Proficiency in SQL Server database design, development, and optimization.
5. Strong understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
6. Experience with frontend frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.
7. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
10. Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Umbraco certification or relevant training.
2. Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
3. Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
4. Familiarity with source control tools (Git, SVN) and CI/CD pipelines.
5. Previous experience in e-commerce or content management solutions is advantageous.
