Accounting Expert (Pune)

Responsible for financial reporting and record maintenance of the subject matter area as well as legal entities both for local statutory reporting and consolidation purposes. Activities ensure compliance with US GAAP / local accounting standards and GAAP reporting requirements.

• Assist in month/ quarter end closing activities including preparation of tax provision workpapers as per US GAAP
• Experienced and skilled in preparation of monthly/quarterly reconciliations
• Conducting regular analysis of general ledger accounts impacting tax matters to identify discrepancies, trends, and variances.
• Coordinating with auditors and providing support during internal and external tax audits
• Experienced in preparation of tax audit reports including TDS and GST reconciliations.
• Identifying opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes, improve efficiency, and enhance internal controls within the general ledger function
• Organizing and maintaining financial records along with supporting documentation for audit and reporting purposes.

• Qualified CA of 3+ years of experience
• Knowledge and understanding of IFRS/ IND- AS/ US GAAP
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment with a drive to deliver quality results within deadlines.
• Working knowledge of ERP/SAP
