Assistant Planner

Role & responsibilities -

• Prepare analysis of location performance, best sellers/slow sellers, sell through.
• Manages and reviews weekly store performances, turnover and inventory levels
• Monitors and manages the flow of products to meet objectives set for the area and for a period of time.
• Innovate and support other team members to enhance the effectiveness of planning across the business.
• Manages Store Inventory from initial allocation through to completion.
• Manages the stock replenishment, plans and monitors the IDS levels based on sales and stock throughout the season (new releases, traffic peaks, regional activity peaks, gift giving seasons)
• Keep constant communication with logistics centre to anticipate increased picking/deliveries, sales cycle (season launch, sales peak, MD,etc.) and operational improvements
• Regularly update Product Merchandising team and partner with them to ensure good consistent inventory level across season and smooth launch of new products (calendar, network )
• Monitor store sales and allocations on a daily business to ensure store stock levels are in line with weeks of supply plans and capacities
• Manage store model stocks at the sku level
• Understand in-transit times by store and adjust model stocks accordingly.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
