Job position: Test Specialist with Japanese Proficiency

• 8 to 15 years of relevant experience
• JLPT N3 or above Certification

Primary Skills

• Language Skills:

• • Good in Japanese speaking skills.
  • Candidate should be able to converse with the customers who are purely dependent on Japanese language.
  • Candidate should be able to understand and comprehend the technical requirements and mails written in Japanese.
  • Candidate should have fairly good writing skills to reply back to mails or write technical document in Japanese.
  • Good communication skills in English as well
  • JLPT N3 or above certification is preferred.

• Technical skills:

• • Designing and implementing test strategies
  • Defining test objectives and requirements
  • Creating test plans and test cases
  • Managing the testing process
  • Collaborating with developers and stakeholders
  • Strong automation developer who can work independently.
  • Understanding of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Ability to analyze and interpret test results to identify and address quality issues
  • Good programming skills in Python/Java
  • Good experience in Web/Mobile automation utilizing the tools such as selenium/appium
  • Good understanding of QA process and tools such as Jira, QTest, Jenkins etc.
  • Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
  • Experience in Manual testing Strong learning and exploring skills
  • Experience in Non-Functional testing like Performance, Usability and Security Testing.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers and developers in Japanese in understanding requirements, holding technical discussions, meeting etc and be a technical bridge between JP and India team.
• Responsible for replaying queries, mails and any other communication on behalf of the team in Japanese.
• Designing and implementing test strategies
• Defining test objectives and requirements
• Creating test plans and test cases
• Managing the testing process
• Collaborating with developers and stakeholders
• Design, implement and maintain test scripts with good quality in a python based automated test framework for testing web-based user interface.
• Execution of tests in automated test framework with the CI/CD systems - Analyze the failures & identify insights on software quality.
• Raise and track the defects found until closure.
• Build deeper understanding of product/application to uncover high severity bugs with exploratory scenarios.
• Estimate, plan and self-track to meet the deliverables.
• Regular update status reports and progress of the activities to customers and project leads/managers
