Job Description


Position Title: System Integration Engineer Organizational Level: Senior Engineer / AMReports To: Manager – System IntegrationLocation:MM Nagar, ChennaiEducational Qualifications BE/B.Tech (EEE / ECE)Eligibility Criteria:Exp – 5–8 Years
Position Responsibilities:

• Understanding & verifying System requirements against module requirements like Software, Hardware & Machine
• To Assess & execute customer requirements (from SOR) for all functional & non-functional behaviors of the system
• Closely work with stakeholders to ensure functional & performance deliverables against the requirements
• To understand & verify the critical design parameters (for Machine, Hardware & Software) against the requirements
• Deep knowledge in interconnecting the machine & controller on all functional aspects
• Hands on experience on all integration aspects like Wiring harness, mechanical couplings & software control algorithms, etc.,
• Calibrating machine & controller for maximum performance and efficiency
• To conduct performance all kind of functional & performance trials for system verification, this includes all safety related requirements & standard adherence
• To troubleshoot & RCA for any kind of failures across the system
• Pre-Identifying & providing resolution for bugs across the system
• Deliver a comprehensive system engineering document against the system requirement
• To drive the project on all aspects for complete delivery

Required Experience:

• Experienced in EV domain, especially electric drivetrain calibration & testing
• Shall be a key contributor in any of the three or all the following, design / developments / integration / calibration / testing / homologation
• Deep understanding in basics of EV core components like Machine, Controller, dc/dc converters, etc.,
• Descent knowledge in Motor Control algorithm & its firmware
• Hands on experience in integration / calibration tools like Canoe / CANape / CANalyser / XCP / UART
• Sound Knowledge on Motor Control algorithms & CAPL scripting
• Exposure of ALM & PLM tools like Codebeamer, ASPICE, FMEA & Creta would be better
• Aware of automotive standards for EV across domestic & international markets

Desired Experience:

• At least 5 years of Exposure/experience in Calibration & testing for electric drivetrain
• Knowledgeable in ASPICE, Canoe, Canalyzer, Codebeamer tools
• Deep knowledge in core components of EV & Software integration / control algorithm
• Good understanding in troubleshooting skills
