Job Description
- Work with the leads to understand the testing requirements and test plan, responsible for the developing of test automation
- Analyze and validate tests results: create reports of bug failures, validate bug fixes, follow up with development teams to close problem reports
- Be involved in the automation of manual test cases and work closely with automation infrastructure.
- Responsible for quality and performance timeliness of result for a portion of project/process.
- Responsible for the installation and maintenance of the test harness on various platforms
- Should possess good analytical skills to help root cause the issue detected during testing
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Very good understanding of x86/ARM architecture and platform security processor
- Must have knowledge on firmware/BIOS test case design verification
- Strong expertise in python scripting language
- Strong expertise of OS internals - Windows/Linux
- Good knowledge of the product development lifecycle, system test process and exposure to SDLC
- Good interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
