Software Engineer 1

Skiils:

• Strong 1.5 to 3 years programming skills in Python
• Experience with messaging platforms like  Kafka.
• Expertise in developing REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services.
• Proficient in working with Linux/Unix OS environments.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP protocols.
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Proven experience in developing backend systems for enterprise applications in domains like e-commerce, manufacturing, or supply chain. Excellent debugging skills and experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with management, product teams, QA, and UI/UX teams.
• Ability to gather requirements, analyze needs, and translate them into robust working systems.
• Ability to mentor young engineers and maintain a high standard of code quality within the team.
• Strong sense of ownership, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product and business requirements are met.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for high performance and efficiency.
• Maintain and enforce best practices for code quality, documentation, and team processes.
• Be a role model for younger engineers, promoting a culture of learning and growth within the team.
