Software Engineer ( Dot Net) - Amla Commerce

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our team. You will play a

key role in the design, development, and delivery of software solutions using .NET

technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior

engineers, and contribute to the architecture and improvement of existing software

systems.

Job Location: Nagpur, Pune and Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using .NET frameworks (ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, C#, etc.).
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code adhering to best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in designing and implementing application architecture and system design.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for performance and scalability.
• Contribute to database design, and work with SQL Server and other databases.
• Develop and maintain web services (REST, SOAP), APIs, and client-server integrations.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
• Write and maintain unit tests and assist in automated testing and quality assurance practices.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior developers.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools,and technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Web API)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MCA, or related field.
• Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, C#, and web technologies like JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, and HTML.
• Experience with Web Services, SOAP, RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and other integration techniques.
• Proficiency in SQL Server and experience working with databases.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of version control tools such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
• Experience working in fintech, ecommerce, or healthcare domains is a plus.
