Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Location: Bangalore

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a minimum of 1 year of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong programming background, knowledge of JavaScript, and hands-on experience with web automation frameworks. This role involves creating and maintaining test automation scripts, ensuring high software quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using any of the following frameworks: Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.

Collaborate closely with development teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements, ensuring functionality meets high standards.

Write and maintain clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Implement and manage test automation within the CI/CD pipeline, using tools such as Jenkins.

Perform functional and regression testing, ensuring reliable delivery of software with minimal defects.

Investigate issues in software and work with development teams to resolve them effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in JavaScript, with a solid understanding of programming fundamentals.

Basic understanding of CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins.

Knowledge of Functional and Asynchronous Programming is a plus.
