Tech Lead - Software Development Engineer

PaaS ( Platforms as a Service) is responsible for building the cloud platforms like solutions for Flipkart. We have our own Fully managed databases, messaging queues and security solutions.

Our customers are the Developers of other teams within Flipkart hence the scale at which we operate is multi-fold.

In the PaaS team we believe in a culture of high performance and ownership hence you will find yourself defining the whole charter of the platform, delivering it and seeing it perform at peak festive loads during the festive sale season.

• Lead a team of talented engineers solving the problems at Scale for the Flipkart customers.
• Responsible for driving the Tech roadmap of the platform and driving the execution of the same.
• This role requires an audacious and collaborative mindset, rapid iteration skills and the knack for solving complex problems at scale.
• Oversee design, development, testing and deployment enduring the best practices in the industry.
• Motivate the team to experiment, innovate and constantly strive for excellence.
• Mentor junior engineers in the team.
• Ability to write high-quality, maintainable code and work collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders.
