Working Hours: UTC+3 (Saudi Arabia Timezone), 5 days a week, 8 hours per day

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced AI/ML Engineer specializing in Hugging Face tools for LLM/ML model development. You will work closely with the AI/ML research & development team, providing dedicated support to enhance and deploy cutting-edge AI solutions.

This role offers flexibilityyou can work remotely or in-office based on your preference. The position starts with a one-year contract, with a strong likelihood of extension for two more years.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, fine-tune, and deploy LLMs using Hugging Faces Transformers, Datasets, and Tokenizers.
• Optimize model performance for scalability, efficiency, and real-world applications.
• Build custom AI/ML pipelines for NLP and multimodal AI applications.
• Work with the STC development team to integrate models into production environments.
• Leverage Hugging Face Hub, Spaces, and Inference API for model deployment.
• Implement model optimization techniques (quantization, pruning, distillation).
• Ensure AI model security, fairness, and bias mitigation.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in AI/ML model development, with a focus on LLMs and NLP.
• Strong expertise in Hugging Face ecosystem (Transformers, Tokenizers, Datasets, Hub).
• Hands-on experience with fine-tuning and deploying LLMs (GPT, T5, BERT, Falcon, etc.).
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow for ML model development.
• Experience in MLOps, API integration (FastAPI/Flask), and cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with RAG pipelines, vector databases (FAISS, Weaviate, Pinecone), and LLM security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with enterprise AI teams
• Contributions to open-source AI projects or the Hugging Face community.
• Knowledge of multi-modal AI (text, image, audio) and generative AI solutions.
