Head of Copy

SocialPilot is looking for a seasoned wordsmith to join our team as Head of Copy . The ideal candidate should have a strong background in copywriting. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can manage a team, oversee engagement, and ensure development of content resonating our brand.

This is a full-time role based in Ahmedabad , India.

Storytelling & Content Development:

• Lead the development of captivating narratives that resonate with our target audience.
• Ensure consistency in voice and tone across all marketing materials.

Multi-Channel Copywriting:

• Create and oversee content for various platforms, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and print materials, adhering to best practices for each medium.

Project Management:

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and ensure cohesive messaging.

Engagement:

• Create content social media marketing channels to maximize engagement and brand presence.

Editorial reviewing:

• Conduct thorough reviews and edits of copy to uphold high editorial standards, focusing on grammar, clarity, and impact.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Foster a collaborative environment within the team and with other departments.
• Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.

• 8+ Years of experience in copywriting, copyediting and managing campaign collateral
• Experience in the SaaS industry
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Communications
• Proven experience as a copywriter, with a strong portfolio showcasing storytelling and diverse content creation.
• Exceptional editorial acumen
• Expertise in the elements of marketing principles and digital marketing strategies
• Familiarity with social media marketing and online reputation management tools.
• Solid understanding of multi-channel marketing strategies and best practices.
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with acute attention to detail.
• Proficient in WordPress and Google Drive applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and perform under pressure.
