• As an IoT (Internet of Things) Design Professional, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing IoT solutions that leverage connected devices, sensors, and data analytics to create innovative products and services
• Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, conceptualize IoT architectures, and oversee the entire development lifecycle from prototyping to deployment
• You will need to stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure that the IoT solutions you design are cutting-edge and scalable

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements for IoT solutions
• Architecture Design: Design scalable and robust IoT architectures that integrate connected devices, sensors, gateways, and cloud platforms
• Prototyping: Develop proof-of-concept prototypes to validate IoT concepts and demonstrate feasibility
• Hardware Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate hardware components (sensors, microcontrollers, communication modules) for IoT solutions based on technical requirements and constraints
• Software Development: Develop firmware for embedded devices, design APIs for communication between devices and cloud platforms, and implement backend services for data processing and analytics
• Data Management: Design data models and protocols for efficient collection, storage, and analysis of sensor data from IoT devices
• Security Implementation: Implement security measures to protect IoT solutions against cyber threats and ensure data privacy
• Integration and Testing: Integrate various components of the IoT solution and conduct thorough testing to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance
• Deployment and Maintenance: Coordinate deployment activities, provide technical support during deployment, and maintain IoT solutions post-deployment
• Documentation: Prepare technical documentation including design specifications, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, software developers, data scientists, and product managers to ensure successful delivery of IoT projects
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry standards, and best practices in IoT design and development
