SoC Analyst L1

We are currently looking for a motivated SOC Analyst L1 to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) team at our office based in Mumbai. This role is essential in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents, helping to safeguard our clients digital assets. The position is based in our office in Andheri East, and we do not offer work-from-home options.

• Monitor security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools, ensuring timely detection and response to potential threats.
• Conduct initial triage and analysis of security incidents, escalating issues as necessary.
• Investigate security breaches, identify root causes, and assist in remediation efforts.
• Collaborate with senior analysts and other teams to implement and enhance security controls and incident response procedures.
• Maintain incident response documentation and reporting to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
• Assist in threat intelligence gathering and analysis to enhance the organization s security posture.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and vulnerabilities to better protect client environments.
• Participate in security awareness training sessions and contribute to improving the overall security culture within the organization.

• 1-3 years of experience in a cybersecurity role, preferably within a SOC environment.
• Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Basic understanding of network protocols, firewall configurations, and security principles.
• Knowledge of incident response methodologies and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate findings and recommendations clearly.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or similar are a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
