Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead in Software Testing tojoinourdynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in software testing, with expertise in leading testing initiatives, managing testing teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. While proficiency in manual testing is crucial, experience in automation testing is highly advantageous. Responsibilities:
- Test Planning and Strategy: Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for software testing projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals. - Test Execution and Documentation: Oversee the execution of test cases and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Document and communicate testing progress, results, and issues to stakeholders. - Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and best practices.
Conduct regular reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards
- Defect Tracking and Resolution: Implement effective defect tracking and resolution processes.
Collaborate with development teams to facilitate timely defect resolution. - Leadership and Team Management: Lead and mentor the testing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Provide technical guidance, training, and support to team members. - Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to assess system stability and reliability.
Identify and address performance bottlenecks and scalability issues. - Automation Testing: Leverage automation testing tools to enhance testing efficiency(experience in automation testing is advantageous).
Identify opportunities for test automation and implement automated test scripts. - Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and advancements in software testing.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on manual testing.
- Proficiency in test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
- Experience in leading testing teams and managing testing projects.
