SMT Technician

• Set Up and Operate SMT Equipment:
• Configure and calibrate SMT machines, such as pick-and-place, Juki & AMS machines, soldering equipment, and re flow ovens.
• Ensure proper placement of components on printed circuit boards (PCBs).
• Set-Up - SMT Machines
• Knowledge of safety and operation of Pick-n-Place machines per WI or equipment manual.
• Load feeders according to setup sheet using WI or machine manual.
• Understand feeder sizes and pitches
• Component Identification knowledge
• Verify components & feeder on job cart
• Overview knowledge of IPC-A-610
• Strong knowledge of SMT assembly techniques and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with component identification and handling.
• Knowledge of quality control standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of soldering and circuit board repair.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on SMT machines and tools.

Qualification: ITI - Electrician / Electronic Mechanic or Diploma - ECE / EEE or Any Degree with 2 to 3 years of experience in SMT.
