Introduction:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, along with experience in automation scripting, Windows environments, and infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform. As a key member of our cloud engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex cloud solutions, ensuring the highest levels of performance, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, high-performance cloud environments on Microsoft Azure.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to create seamless cloud-based solutions.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for provisioning, monitoring, and managing Azure infrastructure.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices using tools such as Terraform to automate provisioning and deployment.
• Ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of Azure environments through continuous monitoring and improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud architecture and automation.
• Stay up to date with the latest Azure technologies, tools, and best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud processes and workflows.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior cloud engineers.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Expertise in configuring, deploying, and managing Azure services, including compute, networking, storage, and Security.
• Strong experience with automation scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar scripting languages).
• Proven experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows server environments, including Active Directory, IIS, and Windows networking.
• Experience in managing AzureDNS, Azure Active Directory, identity management, and access control.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a proven ability to identify and resolve complex issues in cloud-based systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and cloud-native application deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator Associate certification.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a bonus.
• Background in networking and security best practices in the cloud.
